Thunderhead

About Thunderhead

Few German metal bands enjoy such a legendary reputation as Thunderhead. In the late 80s and early 90s, the quartet from Hanover was known for its raw, powerful live performances as well as for the wild, unpredictable rock'n'roll shows – and equally wild lifestyle – of its American frontman and singer Ted Bullet, which was one of the reasons for the split in 1996.

30 years later, the band is celebrating its reunion with the re-release of its first three albums. Now at the microphone is German-Irish newcomer Steven Screamz, whose voice and style fit perfectly into the Thunderhead tradition.

In their heyday, Thunderhead supported bands such as Motörhead, Uriah Heep and Saxon on European tours and played numerous tours in front of an extremely loyal fan base in Japan.

Metal fans are eagerly awaiting the comeback – above all the live performance of Thunderhead classics such as “Behind the 8 Ball”, “Young & Useless”, “Busted at the Border”, “Crime Pays” and many more.
