About White Lion
With the “40 Years Of PRIDE Tour 2027”, Mike Tramp, the voice and face of WHITE LION, returns to European stages in summer 2027. The tour celebrates the 40th anniversary of the hit album “Pride”, which marked the band's international breakthrough in 1987 and, with classics such as “Wait” and “When The Children Cry”, remains one of the defining releases of Melodic Hard Rock to this day.
Even four decades after its release, “Pride” enjoys cult status and forms the centrepiece of a show that brings the music and legacy of WHITE LION back to life. Fans can look forward to numerous classics from the album as well as other popular songs from the band's catalogue.
Although the tour is taking place under the WHITE LION name for the first time since 1991, it is not a reunion of the classic line-up. Rather, Mike Tramp presents the music of WHITE LION together with his current backing band, thus carrying on the group's musical legacy.
The “40 Years Of PRIDE Tour 2027” is therefore intended less as a reunion of the original band and more as a tribute to one of the most important hard rock albums of the 1980s and to the songs that have made WHITE LION unforgettable.
