On every news post you’ll now find the 🤘🏼 like button at the top, next to the reading time. One click is all it takes, and your like is counted. That way we can see which posts you’re most excited about, and you can see what the other Metalheads are celebrating.

It’s that easy

• Open a news post.
• Click 🤘🏼 Like at the top, next to the reading time – done!
• Clicked by mistake? Just click it again and it’s gone.

No sign-up, no cookies

You don’t need an account with Facebook, Instagram or anywhere else to like posts. Likes are counted directly on our own server – without any cookies at all. Your browser only remembers that you’ve already liked a post, so that every vote counts exactly once.

On Instagram and Facebook too

Many news posts are also on our social media channels. Where that’s the case, you’ll find a button below the article that takes you straight to the matching post – where, of course, you can still like, comment and share.

Behind the scenes, we’ve been doing a lot of work on the website over the last few weeks. The key points at a glance:

News

• Every news post now shows its category and reading time – have a look around the news .
• At the end, you can go straight to the newer or older news post and get related posts to read next.
• With “Copy link” you can share a news post with your people in seconds.

Gallery

• The image viewer in the gallery is completely new: swiping, a preview strip and smooth transitions – on your phone too.
• You can share individual photos directly; the link opens exactly that photo.
• Where there are many photographers, you can pick one easily from a drop-down list, including the number of photos.
• You can tap the festival posters to view them full size – for example for RVBANG 2026.

History

• The look-backs at 2024, 2025 and 2026 are now sorted by topic: Line-Up & Music, Photos, Videos & Interviews, and Partners.
• You’ll also find visitor numbers – and 2025 and 2026 were sold out! 🤘🏼

Interviews

• The interview page has been tidied up and has its own audio player in the RVBANG look.

Festival & Tickets

• Save the date: With the calendar button on the home page and in the tickets section, the festival lands in your calendar with one click – on your phone or your PC.
• The home page now has a direct button to our Spotify playlist.
• There’s also a button that takes you straight to our Facebook event – where you can say you’re going and invite friends.

For press and partners

• New: our press page with all the info on accreditation.
• Companies will find everything about sponsoring on the revised sponsors page.

On your phone

• Bigger headings everywhere, more legible buttons and lots of small improvements to the mobile view.
