- The “BÖÖÖS” phenomenon: did you know that the guys invented their own vocabulary back in 2009? Ever since, “BÖÖÖS” has stood for anything that is absolutely awesome – a trademark that the fans have long since adopted as a battle cry!
- From the rehearsal room to Olympus: before the band tore apart the big festival stages, it all started in classic fashion in 2007 – with Metallica covers in the rehearsal room! That old-school DNA is still in every riff today – just at double the speed and with a massive extra helping of home-grown heaviness.
Bio
Broken Fate are a modern metal band from Zurich who, since forming in 2007, have developed a powerful mix of thrash, groove and melodic elements. Their sound combines raw energy with catchy structures and stands out through a combination of aggressive riffs and clear, emotional passages.
The band are particularly strong live: they stand for hard-hitting shows, lots of movement on stage and direct contact with the audience. Over the years, Broken Fate have played numerous festivals and club stages at home and abroad, building up a loyal fan base along the way.
The current line-up consists of Tobias John Bänteli on vocals and guitar, Yannick Staub on lead guitar, Patrick Von Gunten on bass and Alessandro De Cicco on drums. Together they shape the band's distinctive style and are constantly working on developing their modern metal sound further.
