🔥Fun facts about DESTINITY

  • From symphonic Black Metal to Death and Thrash Metal Hard to believe when you hear their sound today: in their early days from 1996 onwards, pure symphonic Black Metal still reigned for the French band. It was only from 2004 that they gradually discovered the modern Death and Thrash Metal vibe for themselves.
  • The “repeating digits” live demolition on DVD After a major European tour through Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and Switzerland in 2006, the band immortalised their concentrated live energy on a DVD of their own. The epic name of this release: 666% Thrashened Extreme Music (1996–2006). It really doesn’t get more metal than that!

Biography

Destinity are among the most distinctive extreme metal bands in France. Their unmistakable sound combines brutal Melodic Death Metal with dark, cinematic, symphonic elements. Over the years the band have steadily evolved: away from their blackened beginnings towards a modern, massive direction that thrives on crushing walls of guitar, dynamic drums and the alternation between growls and clean melodies. Live, too, they are an absolute force of nature, drawing their audience straight into their dark cosmos with an energetic, dramatically staged show.
