Defender

About Defender

Defender is a four-piece Heavy Metal band from Balingen, rooted in the classic Power and Heavy Metal of the 80s and 90s. Inspired by genre greats such as Helloween, Gamma Ray, Accept, Saxon, Blind Guardian and Manowar, the band combines catchy anthemic choruses with epic song structures and driving riffs.

The new album “Titans of Fire” is ready to go from 6 November, delivering ten tracks between fire and steel – from the driving advance single “Don't Play With Evil” (released: 28 August 2026) to the epic orchestral title track, which came out on 2 October as the third single and already gives a powerful foretaste of the album. Songs such as “Follow the Flame” and “Gods of Desire” impressively underline the range between classic metal storm and cinematic grandeur.
