About Skull & Crossbones
Skull & Crossbones are devoted to traditional Heavy Metal. The 4 ex-Stormwitch musicians are picking up where they left off. With new singer Tobi Hübner (ex Forensick, The Woodpeckers...) they are making a fresh start, staying true to their roots while also letting new influences come into play. The debut album “Sungazer” was released in September 2023. With bassist Jürgen “Wanschi” Wannenwetsch, a founding member of the band Stormwitch is on board. Drummer Marc Oppold is no stranger either. From 2002 to 2004 he already played on the albums “Witchcraft” and “Dance with the Witches”. He is also active in Tyrant. With Volker Schmietow, who released two albums with Late Nite Romeo in the 90s, and Tobi Kipp, two gifted guitarists are on board.
The focus is on their own material from the 2023 debut album “Sungazer”. In addition, one or two songs from the 2018 release “Bound to the Witch”, which was still released under the Stormwitch banner, also get a place in Skull & Crossbones' live set.
