About Rezet
Eleven songs and a piano intro deliver the finest speed and thrash metal that cuts a fine figure both among international classics of the 80s and 90s and among current metal recommendations. The recordings feel like a second spring for the band: honest, direct, fresh and ultra-heavy!
At the beginning of last year, none other than string wizard Nikolay Atanasov (AGENT STEEL), a native Bulgarian living in Denmark, came on board. He completes the line-up alongside bassist Lorenz Kandolf (TRAITOR, among others), who had joined the band before him.
Since the debut album Have Gun, Will Travel (2010), regarded as a classic of the "New Wave of Thrash Metal", singer, guitarist and main songwriter Ricky Wagner and the exceptional drummer Bastian "attt" Santen have formed the heart of the group.
The album was once again produced, mixed and mastered by Eike Freese (HELLOWEEN, DEEP PURPLE, HEAVEN SHALL BURN and others), Hamburg's go-to rock and metal producer. In addition, parts of the recordings were made in the band's own "Rad Toad Studios" in the far north of Schleswig-Holstein.
The dystopian artwork for the record comes from Pär Oloffsson (Exodus, Aborted, Pathology, Traitor, Finsterforst and others), who depicts a mechanical landscape being reclaimed by new life.
The “great reset” has probably never been closer…
