About Black & Damned
It is the year 2020 and a virus brings everything to a halt - everything stands still. But suddenly, as if out of nowhere, a new band forces its way into the spotlight: BLACK & DAMNED.
Those “condemned to doing nothing”, MICHAEL VETTER (Guitars & Bass / PUMP) and ROLAND “Bobbes” SEIDEL (Vocals / IHRESGLEICHEN), decided during this dark phase of the first worldwide lockdown to become active together. Two “lost souls of the music industry” suddenly fused into one shining unit. The goal: to break through the silence and lethargy and create a series of top-class metal songs. In no time at all, the duo wrote 12 epic Power Metal songs together that come across like a symbiosis of the energy of bands like IRON MAIDEN, the darkness of BLACK SABBATH and the playfulness of HELLOWEEN.
The 12 tracks of the debut “Heavenly Creatures”, released in 2021, are incredibly multi-layered, beautiful and, for long stretches, mercilessly heavy.
The second album “Servants of the Devil” struck the same chord and featured 3 potential hits that generated plenty of airplay.
By now at the latest it is clear that the band from the Stuttgart area can be called a real asset to the Heavy Metal world - something has been set in motion!
So get yourselves well equipped, too, to dive into a new era of metal with BLACK & DAMNED!
