About Full Stop
Full Stop from Freiburg play Modern Metal. Whether it's warm beer and swimming in mud or heavy subjects such as homophobia or freedom – with a combination of atmospheric sounds and hard, fast riffs, guitarist Mandy gives frontwoman Linda's varied lyrics and impressive clean and guttural vocal passages a strong foundation. Ritschy's solid carpet of bass, paired with Heffer's high-energy drumming, creates a framework that surprises and yet wins everyone over. A wild mix of System of a Down, Bullet for my Valentine and Jinjer – intriguing, right?
Founded in 2021, Full Stop played several regional and national gigs within a short time, including in Bonn and at Freiburg's prestigious club Crash. In June 2024 Full Stop released their debut EP Beyond Breaking Borders together with a blacklight-based stage concept to match the EP.
After a good placing in the Rising Sinner Contest of the Fulda-based Sinner Rock Festival, they won over more fans beyond their region as well. With an impressive performance at the band contest of the Innfield Festival in Innsbruck, Full Stop managed to land a booking for the Lakerock Festival (formerly Salzburg, then Vienna), which has unfortunately since been cancelled. In August they won the band contest of the Doiboch Open Air in Bavaria. And plenty is planned for the autumn too, with the Splintered Tour, from Konstanz to Karlsruhe.
