About Michael Schenker
Michael Schenker is one of the most important and influential rock guitarists of all time. Born in Germany in 1955, he shaped the Scorpions’ debut album "Lonesome Crow" while still a teenager and shortly afterwards became internationally known with UFO. His characteristic sound, his melodic solos and the iconic black-and-white Flying V made him a fixture of the rock and metal world.
After successful years with UFO, he founded the Michael Schenker Group (MSG), with which he released numerous classics and further developed his role as a creative free spirit. Over the course of his career he has been involved in many projects, including Michael Schenker Fest and Temple of Rock, and has worked with renowned musicians from all over the world.
Despite personal and professional challenges, Schenker stayed true to his musical vision: uncompromising, inspiring and always searching for new forms of expression. To this day he releases successful albums and thrills fans worldwide with his unique blend of technical brilliance and emotional playing.
