About Rage
1984 was the year in which the foundations were laid for the career of a band that is still as active today as it was on day one. We are talking, of course, about RAGE.
Alongside tour dates and festivals in the classic three-piece line-up, some very special shows are also coming up: RAGE will once again play selected orchestral shows together with the LINGUA MORTIS ORCHESTRA, living up once more to their role as pioneers in this field.
Led by their iconic frontman Peavy Wagner, Rage have built an impressive career and produced some of the best and most respected albums in the annals of metal. RAGE did genuine pioneering work in particular with their much-noticed orchestral productions. 1996 saw the release of “Lingua Mortis”, which is regarded as the band’s first classical-metal crossover. The concept was taken up again and again in the following years (“XIII”, “Ghosts”, “Speak Of The Dead”, “LMO”) and remains one of their trademarks to this day.
So RAGE fans can look forward to some very special shows from RAGE and the LINGUA MORTIS ORCHESTRA.
